Answers to your most common questions

This is the most common question we receive today. More than 150 departments have chosen CrewProtect to be standard in all new vehicles they build. StationProtect is used by some of the largest and best know fire departments and organizations in the world. While many customers don’t market their equipment deployments, we can connect you with an organization similar to yours who can share the outcomes they’ve achieved with the Protect line of products.

Your HVAC system is designed to turn over the air in your facility 2x per hour. Many organizations recommend 4 or more ACH (air changes per hour). The StationProtect is design to add at least two additional ACH. Also, your HVAC system can’t remove health harmful gases like VOCs from the air. This requires the use of molecular media. Your HVAC system is not design to be able to pull air through molecular media.

The StationProtect filter set lasts for one year in most locations, but this varies based on actual usage. CrewProtect filters last for 2.5 – 6 months, depending on usage.

Not many vehicles can be out of service for long, so installation needs to be fast and easy. Depending on if power is already available where you want to install your CrewProtect, it can take 30-60 minutes to install any CrewProtect model. Many truck manufacturers offer CrewProtect as an option in their truck building software so you can spec the right model into your new truck build. Many units are also installed by qualified dealers during scheduled vehicle maintenance.
